Estate Maude
Central Otago is a region brimming with creative energy and continues to build a reputation for remarkable wines, not unlike its dramatic landscape. The Estate Maude wines are your taste, of our take, on our region. Collectively these wines come from our vineyards, ones we manage and a handful of small vineyards across the region growing for us. These wines allow our knowledge of site, season and winemaking evolve, the influence is gradual yet profound and why we do what we do.
Single Vineyard Maude
Maude Single Vineyard range fulfils our quest to see the potential our vineyard sites can reach and how attuned we are as winemakers to them. Creating styles, provocative and distinctly different, which we believe elevate these expressive single-site Pinot Noirs to a higher plane. A fair amount of ego rears its head with this range. Produced from great years, each single vineyard Pinot Noir tells a story about the vineyard, vintage and variety. We’re just sorry there isn’t more of them, some years as little as 70 cases.
Reserve Maude
Respect for Generation 1, Dawn and Terry Wilson, who had the forethought, confidence and dedication to do it right, no compromise. Reserve Maude wines are all from the family 4 ha Mt Maude Vineyard, planted nearly 30 years ago to Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, all dry grown, cared for by the family. We have learnt from nearly 3 decades that these vines have the capacity for greatness and we are slowly weaving our way there. Timeless and collectable to you, enjoyment and pride for us.
